All Packages created for an event are set either as ‘Register Page’ or ‘Invite’ Packages. This means that they can either be toggled ON or OFF to appear on your event’s register Register Page OR they can be toggled ON or OFF to be able to be added to your event’s Invite emailsEmail Invites. Packages that can be added to your Register Page cannot be added to your Email Invites and vice versa. (This is mainly because register Register Page Packages can have a price associated with them, and Packages added to ‘yes / no’ email Email Invites must necessarily be free of charge).

These lists of Package names also have checkboxes to the left of them (if they are available to be toggled ON to / OFF your Register Page) or to the right of them (if they are available to be toggled ON to / OFF your Email Invites). Using these checkboxes you can decide whether to toggle the Package on or off the Register Page, or make it available or not in your Emails.
This is very useful, for example if you want to create multiple Packages, test them out, show other people, or create them in advance before making them available on your Register page Page or available to add to invites. You can also use this feature to create different Packages that will be available on different dates (e.g. ‘Early Bird’ Packages) and toggle them ON or OFF accordingly.

When you first create your event, you are asked whether you want to allow Free Registrations and if so, the maximum amount. If you select 'Allow Free Registrations’ at this point, Seatrobot will toggle the default Register Package ‘ON’ automatically. Therefore, if you select ‘Allow Free Registrations’ when you first create the an event and you only want a Register Page or simple invites, your Register Page will be active for registrations without your needing to visit the Packages page.
Alternatively, if you select that you do NOT want your event to allow Allow Free registrations Registrations during setup, then Seatrobot will leave your default Register package Package toggled OFF. This is so that if somehow the Register page Page link for your event is distributed, people cannot register for free - because you have said you do NOT want that to happen.
